Objective: Identify the vocabulary in English that allows comparisons: but, more, than.

Comparison is a literary device that establishes a relationship of similarity between two elements based on a common characteristic. For example: It is firm as an oak.

For rhetoric, comparison (or simile) is a figure that points to a similarity between two different terms, and is associated with other figures such as allusion, allegory, example, and others.
